Melt Filter Screens for BREAK® Systems
We supply laser-drilled filter screens for BREAK® melt filtration systems from Italy, used in plastic recycling and extrusion lines. The screens provide consistent melt filtration, helping maintain stable line output and end-product quality.
Made from wear-resistant specialty alloys with a treated working surface, the screens feature conical laser-drilled openings that widen from the contaminated melt side toward the clean side. This design supports easier contaminant removal, lower backpressure and reduced clogging risk.
Filtration options from 60 to 400 µm are available, with configurations for different BREAK® filter models. Suitable for PE, PP, PET and other polymers, the screens can undergo several pyrolysis-cleaning cycles when the recommended cleaning procedure is followed.
